HOW AND WHY WAS YOUR ORGANIZATION FOUNDED?TheFriendsFou ndation

The Friends Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization formed in 2003, is committed to helping the elderly in the greater Dripping Springs area. Patti Clark serves as President of The Friends Foundation.

WHAT IS YOUR PRIMARY MISSION?

We strive to enhance the quality of life for our area seniors by providing financial assistance and special programs, whether in a nursing home, an independent living center, or their own home.

imgres-1WHAT HAPPENS IN THE COMMUNITY THROUGH YOUR ORGANIZATION’S EFFORTS?

Our Daily Bread, a three day a week hot meal home delivery program, has served over 31,000 hot meals to the home bound elderly in the last eight years. The meals are prepared at Hill Country Care and are appropriate for each client’s dietary needs. It is not only the meal but the friendly face and a moment of personal visiting that is important to our clients. More…

NOW MEET THE DRIPPING SPRINGS EDUCATION FOUNDATION:

WHEN, HOW, AND WHY WAS YOUR ORGANIZATION FOUNDED?DSEF.4clr.vertical

We are the Dripping Springs Education Foundation.  We were formed in 1992 and have been operating to support academic excellence, leadership and innovation for all students in the Dripping Springs ISD.  Our current President is Joanne Cicala Inscore and we are led by an active board of community leaders interested and motivated to continuing the outstanding reputation of Dripping Springs ISD. 

WHAT IS YOUR PRIMARY MISSION?

DSEF raises money to support innovative teaching, student leadership and other DSISD priorities. Innovative Teaching and Student Leadership Grants provide students and teachers a mechanism  to fund creative ideas that enhance and enrich our students’ educational experience. Our grants to fund other district priorities enable the DSISD to maximize opportunities for excellence in academics and 21st Century learning objectives
